Founded in 2018, Coffee Rider & Co sought to bring Melbourne’s inner-city coffee connoisseur culture to events, markets, and festivals throughout the state of Victoria. Priding ourselves on delivering not only a quality product but an aesthetically pleasing and professional experience to any park, palace or patio we can pull our cart into!
Our intimate understanding of coffee and professional service is what differentiates us from the competition. Owner/Operator Tommy has dedicated the large part of ten years to coffee from seed to bean and bean to beverage. We didn’t let convenience get in the way of quality, and our state-of-the-art La Marzocco GS3 and Fiorenzato F71 grinder ensure a refined and consistent extraction in every cup. Our mastered method coupled with your choice of perfectly textured full cream, skim, almond or soy milk guarantee you a caffeinated (or decaffeinated) beverage that is second to none.
Tommy is the founder of Coffee Rider and Co, who has been in the coffee trade for over 15 years. He has worked as a barista, coffee roaster, machine technician, and sourcing of green beans for Industry Beans. He brings an experience and passion to these beautiful quirky bikes, that are much sought after and a definite head turner for the crowds.
Established as roasters in 2010, Melbourne brothers Steve and Trevor Simmons built a brand that held “philosophies of quality, transparency, and approachability”. This ethos drove Industry Beans into the success it is today, from the award-winning Fitzroy flagship cafe and roastery to the Little Collins Cafe in Melbourne CBD and the newly established cafe on York Street in Sydney’s CBD. Their passion for coffee is unparalleled, and with their established direct trade relationships with farmers across the world, Industry Beans has become a leading contender in Melbourne’s internationally renowned speciality coffee scene.
